Under the office of management and budget Susan was appointed to lead the FAERS initiative, a replacement to the outdated Safety data collection system the FDA was under mandate to decommission. Prior to that Susan held several roles within Industry leading Clinical Development at Boehringer Ingelheim & Pfizer.

She has also held roles such as Director of Clinical Outreach and Logistics at the International Genomics Consortium as well as the Head of Immunology & Ophthalmology Biometrics Health Outcomes & Payer Support Data Management at Genentech. She has a Master's degree in Clinical Research Management from Arizona State University and a BS from Purdue University.
