Prior to starting FundersClub, Mr. Mittal was the founding CEO of Innova Dynamics, a VC-backed touchscreen hardware company (acquired by TPK Holding, TPE:3673). Previously, he was the founding CTO of an enterprise software company. He holds degrees in economics and engineering from the Wharton School and Penn Engineering via the University of Pennsylvania's M&T Program, and is an alumni of Y Combinator. He is an advisor to First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund, a columnist for Inc., and has been featured in Forbes 30 under 30 in Tech, in BusinessWeek as one of America’s Best Young Entrepreneurs, in Silicon Valley’s 40 under 40, and invited to speak at conferences hosted by the NVCA, ACA, Wired, Guardian, and SXSW. Previously, he was also active in science research, has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, is an inventor on multiple issued patents, and presented at the 2002 Nobel Prize Ceremonies.
