FundersClub is the world's most selective & fastest growing online VC firm, targeting early investment in the world's most promising tech startups. Our highly vetted portfolio of startups have raised over $600M of follow-on capital from other leading startup investors such as Sequoia Capital (early Apple investor), Andreessen Horowitz (early Airbnb investor), Kleiner Perkins (early Google investor), DFJ (early Tesla investor), and First Round Capital (early Uber investor). We use our unique community of accredited investors, our technology, and our inside access in Silicon Valley and globally to source, curate, fund, and support disruptive, category-defining businesses, and the intrepid founders who lead them. Our financial backers and advisors include veterans of Sand Hill Road like DFJ / Draper Associates, successful disruptors like First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and Andreessen Horowitz, and seasoned operators including founders and senior executives of companies like Facebook and Box.
FundersClub is the world's first network-augmented VC firm, receiving a no-action letter in March of 2013 from the SEC acknowledging its online model. With over 12,000 highly connected and influential accredited investors in its network, and a track record and reputation earned from its focus on the best, FundersClub is connected to nearly every major technology, business, and financial hub in the world, and to high-promise founders everywhere.
Unlike all other online startup investing platforms, FundersClub is extremely selective and focuses on only the highest-promise, technology-enabled startups from Silicon Valley and beyond. Fewer than 2% of startups that we review are curated for investment by both an internal Investment Committee and a network-assisted Investment Panel, comprised of experts in venture investing, business, technology, and finance.
For individual and family office investors, FundersClub provides an easy solution to diversify one's portfolio and include early stage private equity and venture capital. Our $3,000 minimums make it easy both to expand your portfolio to include VC, and to diversify across a full portfolio of startups.
Ever since we became the first online platform in the United States to complete an online VC investment, we have been defining the leading standard for online private equity investing and marketplace technology. Online payments, online e-signing, and online financial reporting are just some of the innovations we've introduced to VC since our debut, and we're just getting started.
The founders of FundersClub began with defining a set of values to operate by before they incorporated FundersClub. These have permeated our organization ever since. They include operating with Honesty & Integrity, with No Fear, with Agility, with Questioning of the status quo, and optimizing for Love. We are creating the future of venture investing—applying tech to finding and supporting the world's most deserving entrepreneurs, involving more people in the value created by disruptive tech startups, and bringing greater accountability to venture capital. We invite you to join us and to help us fund the future.
