Prior to starting FundersClub, Mr. Mittal was the founding CEO of Innova Dynamics, a VC-backed touchscreen hardware company, leading the company from university laboratory to commercialization, securing design-in collaborations with today's major consumer electronics companies. Previously, he was the founding CTO of Crederity, a VC-backed identity and credential verification enterprise software company, and co-founded and led Penn Engineers without Borders, a non-profit that has provided running water to thousands of people worldwide. Mr. Mittal currently serves on the Board of Directors of three companies, holds degrees in economics and engineering from Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania, and is an alumni of Y Combinator. He was recently named an advisor to First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund, and is a columnist for Inc. Additionally, Mr. Mittal has been featured in Forbes 30 under 30 in Tech, in BusinessWeek as one of America’s Best Young Entrepreneurs, and in Silicon Valley’s 40 under 40. Prior to his time as an entrepreneur, Mr. Mittal was active in science research, presenting at the 2002 Nobel Prize Ceremonies, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory named an asteroid after him for his work.
Boris Silver is Co-Founder and President of FundersClub, the world's first online VC platform. Prior to starting FundersClub, he was founder and CEO of Sport Interactiva, a leading fantasy sports gaming company on Facebook (sold to Citizen Sports and acquired by Yahoo!). He was named an Ambassador of Entrepreneurship by Wharton, serves on the Board of Advisors to a venture backed technology company, and is an advisor to First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund. Previously, he worked at Bunge, a global agribusiness, in their Commodity Trading and Risk Management program. He has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 in Tech and to Silicon Valley’s 40 under 40. Boris graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is also an alumnus of Y Combinator.
Shlomo brings over a decade of programming and UX experience to the engineering of FundersClub. He previously led the applications and UX team at PrimeSense, which built the 3d sensor technology behind the Microsoft Kinect. He later cofounded Zigfu, a Y-Combinator company building an app store and web platform for Kinect developers.
Carissa previously worked for Google and Facebook where her focus was in recruiting. She brings diverse Human Resource skills through her experience as Director of Human Resources at Agape Senior. In addition, Carissa has a wide variety of experience through starting her own business of buying and selling cars while in high school and selling books door-to-door in college. She was the founder of Clemson University’s Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Human Resources from Clemson University.
Dave is an experienced programmer who has worked across all layers of the application stack to build numerous desktop and web applications. He previously worked developing risk analytics systems at Credit Suisse and built a digital repository system for the Arizona State University Libraries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University.
Andrew is a full stack engineer who is comfortable working on whatever is needed at the time. He previously interned at Cube, a POS platform and has contracted on and off the past two years. He is a recent graduate of Rutgers University and has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Jerrod came to FundersClub from Vector Capital in San Francisco, where he was a Private Equity associate focused on technology investments. At Vector, Jerrod assisted in sourcing and executing new investments and leading operational improvements once invested. Prior to Vector, Jerrod worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in Greenhill & Co.'s New York office in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring advisory groups. Jerrod graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics.
Susana previously worked as a communications manager at Stanford University’s MediaX Program, which funds high-impact research in media and technology. She also worked at Facebook, where she project managed the API training program for the global sales organization, wrote for the Facebook Help Center and acted as an analyst on multiple projects for the Latin America team in the User Operations Department. She earned her B.A. in International Relations (honors) and M.A. in Journalism at Stanford University, and studied abroad at Oxford University. In her free time, she can be found perfecting her yoga poses.
Prior to joining FundersClub, Jason was a Tax Manager at Frank, Rimerman & Co. LLP, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs, venture funds, technology companies, real estate partnerships and private foundations. His experience also includes mergers and acquisitions and general corporate compliance. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management Economics from the University of California Santa Cruz.
Eran has been writing software for about 15 years - from low-level Unix programming through embedded systems and web development. He co-founded a software company that developed an embedded operating system, and a site for improving the experience of electronic parts sourcing. Before joining Fundersclub he also worked as a contractor, providing both hardware and software R&D services to over a dozen companies. In his spare time he likes to build electronics and create weird techno music.
