Slack buys YC-backed Screenhero to launch new screen sharing feature

Today fast-growing corporate messaging service Slack announced it has acquired Screenhero, a Y Combinator and Andreessen Horowitz-backed startup which aimed to help teams collaborate better via screen sharing.

ScreenHero, which launched earlier this year out of Y Combinator, is an app that turns any Mac or PC into a completely collaborative environment — a place where two people can not just share a screen, but also work together on it with their own mouse cursors in real-time.
