With Activate by Bloglovin’, formerly known as Sverve, being acquired by Bloglovin’, the way we read blogs has changed and has created the space it needs to only optimize our blogging experience.
Sverve, an online platform that serves to connect influencers and brands and which currently boasts over 25,000 active users, will now serve to help Bloglovin's content creators monetize their blogs and social media content through nationwide social campaigns.
Bloglovin’ is announcing the acquisition of marketing startup Sverve, a move that should the expand monetization options for writers using the Bloglovin’ platform.
Sverve's web site and complementary app are aimed to help busy mom bloggers manage sustainable revenue-generating blogs by providing them multiple opportunities to make money. Brands can gain access to blogger information and leaderboards, and offer guest blogging assignments, community manager positions, or other opportunities to the top social media influencers on Sverve.
“There are 3.9 million mommy bloggers in the U.S., and 50 million women bloggers,” Vashisht says. “They’re very passionate, and they build followers on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. In fact, moms are the most socially-engaged social media users.” Brands, of course, want to connect to readers and audience. “Mommy bloggers” are passionate, opinionated, and credible, which make them good opportunities for endorsements and ads, but they’re very niche … too niche for brands to find and work with them one-by-one.
