Founder & CEO, TalentDesk.io
Xenios has been deeply involved in the freelance economy for over a decade, founding TalentDesk.io, a leading global SaaS platform that helps businesses efficiently manage their distributed teams. Launched in 2017, TalentDesk.io serves customers worldwide, streamlining everything from onboarding and compliance to task allocation, timesheet tracking, and global payments, providing a fast and scalable solution.
Previously, Xenios founded PeoplePerHour, one of Europe’s first freelance marketplaces. While he remains its founder, the company is now run by a professional management team, allowing him to focus on scaling TalentDesk.io and driving innovation in freelancer management.
Outside of work, Xenios is deeply passionate about art, outdoor cooking, and martial arts. He has converted an old shipping container in the countryside into a dedicated art studio, where he spends time painting and exploring creative expression. His love for open-fire cooking has also led him to collect outdoor grills and experiment with different grilling techniques, firewood selections, and traditional cooking methods. He enjoys hosting cookouts for friends and family, embracing the connection between fire, food, and community. In addition, he practices boxing and Muay Thai, staying active through martial arts.
Xenios is engaged to be married to Stasha Djokic, originally of Serbian origin. They share their home with Paddington, a playful maltipoo just under two years old. They split their time between London and the Cotswolds, near Chipping Norton, where they embrace a balance of city life and the tranquility of the countryside.
Xenios holds both an MA and MEng from Cambridge University and has furthered his education through executive programs at Harvard Business School.
